Kennys Vargas celebrated his 24th birthday in Chicago by making his first start. It was a daunting task against Sale. He struck out in his first at bat, but he got his first hit, his first double and his first two RBI in his second at bat.

In the minor leagues, it wasn’t a great night for the organization. The teams went a combined 1-5 on the night, and one game was suspended due to inclement weather. But we’ll still show you some highlights and who-did-what.
