I'm convinced that if Brown is available at #32 that the Twins take him. TR is scouting him in person again today and Brown said he's always been a Twins fan. Though he later said he wouldn't be heart-broken if he was taken by someone else and I will be holding my breath during picks 29-31 (Rangers, Yankees, Red Sox).

I think that the Twins value him more than other teams. He does not really look much more than a 3-4 round guy to me. He has a FB and a cutter, that's about it at this point. Major work in progress, who will likely end up as a reliever, unless he develops both a breaking ball and an change, thus the 3-4 round designation.

after the first and comp rounds hes still there. maybe we take him in the second?

I think that he will be there tomorrow. The kid is academic and I am not sure that he will sign if they let him go past the second. But in most places (as I said before) he projects as a 3rd-4th rounder.
