I suppose it would be unfair to term that a jinx...

My theory was that it was too far over the top to be a jinx.

What's your favorite cake?

Depends on my mood and on the season. I've made all kinds ... but my favorites lean towards to utterly decadent ... chocolate, chocolate, chocolate ... or something lighter, fruity.

I love coconut cake, which is usually just vanilla cake with coconut icing. But on rare occasions the cake itself has coconut flavor. I wonder why those occasions seem so rare. Is it difficult to just add some coconut milk to the cake?

Hmmm. Looked like it grazed the outer edge of the foul poll, with the mild (by my golf swing standards) slice turning into a mild right turn. Who's up for foul poll impact sensors? Just kidding. Mostly.

Either way, that's a pretty impressive ride for a go-the-other-way swing.

The hardest part is getting the coconuts open. I get frustrated and buy an Almond Joy

I love coconut

I hate it. Not the taste; the consistency...

I wonder who the first guy was to discover that there was something to eat in a cocunuts and how hungry was he at the time.

I love coconut cake ... but I usually have to have it with some kind of a filling ... hmm ... may have to make something ... vanilla cake, with a raspberry cream filling, and vanilla frosting with coconut.

If the Twins had a better record, Dozier would win a gold glove!

It always bothered me that, with my aversion to coconut, one of the very few food-acquiring survival tools the military offered was a gas-powered coconut opener.
