Last night, there was a lot of discussion on the 2012 Draft on the SethSpeaks Weekly Twins Podcast. I was joined by Matt Garrioch of MLB Prospect Guide and who has teamed with John Sickels at Minor League Ball for some terrific draft coverage. We talked about the various college pitchers that will be available to the Twins (Appel, Zimmer, Gausman, Stromen) and how he ranks them. I asked if it was crazy for me to think that high school RHP would be a crazy pick for the Twins at #2. Will high school OF Byron Buxton be available and could the Twins take him, and what about college catcher Mike Zunino. The Twins will certainly have plenty of options and very good options when they pick in June. So, who does Matt think the Twins should take? Hey, I can't give it all away. You'll just have to listen.

Later, Twins Daily contributor Jeremy Nygaard called in as well. He, too, has done a lot of work and research on the upcoming draft and added his thoughts on what the TWins should do.

Of course, we also talked a lot about what was going on in the Twins farm system, score updates from last night, many Twins topics, and Scott Diamond, Brian Dozier and much, much more. The show is one hour and hopefully you'll enjoy it!! Please let me know what you think! Also, let me know who you would like to hear on the podcasts. Players? Others?
