It would behoove him to just hit it over the fence.

Love the avatar.

Much easier cardio workout if Kendrys would just hit it over the fence instead of hitting it just short of it. I know I'm picking nits, but he looked like he was going to take a tumble rounding second. Haha

As long as he kills any Colorado rallies, its okay with me.

I think it might take 13 runs to win today.

It's starting to appear that way.

Come on Hughes. Stop turning into a pumpkin. On a unrelated note, I miss Justin Morneau. Not so much because of his play this year, although he is playing very well. He was my favorite Twin and was traded on my wedding day. Luckily, I hadn't checked my phone at all that day.

I've seen one game at Coors. Jake Peavey threw a shutout. I believe it was the first time the Rockies were shut out in over 100 games at home.

Every position player on the Twins has a hit.

Looks like they are going to have to rinse and repeat more than once to win this one.

Five run lead, we hardly knew ye.

Common Hughes... Now would be a great time to make sure everyone in the lineup has a hit today.

We now have zero pitchers with an ERA below 3.90 (which is roughly league average), and the 2nd worse starters ERA in baseball.
Good thing Suzuki "handles" the pitching staff so great.

Uffda.

Would've been close, but I think they turn that sans the bobble.

Is pitching that much improved that league average is 3.9?

If playing the outfielders so deep is causing so many problems...maybe not play them so deep?

It's not like they're cutting off anything anyway.

I agree with your sentiment Mr. Brooks. I hope all the conversation praising Suzuki is just spin.
