Here is the link to a somewhat long but very interesting article about Baseball in Minnesota. Has some interesting tidbits about Molitor, Hrbek, Mauer, Morris, Theibar among others.

I really enjoyed it and wanted to share it everyone.

Good article. Caple has quietly been one of ESPN's best baseball writers for, what, 15 years now?

Really nice job of weaving so many threads of Minnesota's baseball history.

And Janet Thielbar is my new hero. She's actually a couple of years younger than me but I can greatly appreciate the opposition she must have faced. Love her dad and coach, too, for believing in her love of the game.

he is from Washington state, but worked for the Pioneer Press covering the Twins in the 90's.
