Seth, I remember Barrie already 18-year old and Verkerk 17-year old?

Barrie signed on his 18th birthday (in February). Verkerk signed at 16 (last July) and has since turned 17.

Are both Lewin Diaz and Roni Tapia being left in the DSL or is there an age limit for the GCL?

Not much to see here. Lots of late round picks and low bonus international guys. Don't expect many of these guys to be in the system in 2016.

They could get promoted the way Sano and Polanco were they year they signed, but Diaz and Tapia come off as more raw then those two were. Plus theirs a corner infielder numbers game. The Twins don't send Auzzie or Europeans to DSL, probably due to culture shock issues. So with Ruar Verkerk at 3rd, Jack Barrie at 1st, and Amaurys Minier now pushed into the outfield, your spots are filled.

Mike Thoefanopoulos – If nothing else, the Twins 30th round pick will make things difficult for Twins writers and bloggers

Indeed. ThEOfanopoulos (like Theo) not ThOEfanopoulos ;)

Maybe that was intentional, to see if anyone noticed. Ha!

Neither is doing much in the DSL, and I expect them to just stay there. Not that stats mean much at that level.

Already has. He's played two games in the Appy League.

Ridgewater college is in Willmar and Hutchinson. Not Mankato.
