Garver put his first full season of MiLB in the books with a .298/.399/.481 line. Good for an .880 OPS or a 154 wRC+, according to Fangraphs. His wRC+ ranks #19 in all of MiLB (400 PA) and #2 out of all MiLB catchers (Coulter of the Brewers' org. is #1). In the final week of the season, he added another HR to bring his total to 16, along with 5 more RBIs for 79 on the season.
Many fans of the Kernels were likely looking forward to having his bat in the middle of the lineup as they go for the MWL crown, but, unfortunately, Garver experienced concussion-like symptoms midway through the Kernels' postseason opener. This is at least the second time Garver has missed time due to concussion-like symptoms this year, and though he's listed day-to-day, I can't imagine that the organization would risk further injury if the Kernels advance further in the playoffs.
