since minor leaguers are being discussed ... parm has a 3 run homer and a 2 run homer in his first two ab's this afternoon. It seems pretty clear he can rake at AAA, what can the Twins do with him?

Throw in a double now. His OPS is sitting at 1.014.

12 runs and 15 hits through four innings for Rochester but Meyer is struggling a bit.

Why did Mauer leave game? I hope everything is all right. Gives a person a bad feeling.

Ah dub-dub dub-dub Doubleday. Gotcha.

Well, that was my guess, anyway.

My other guess is that in the third week of May there will be less discussion of how much better the offense is than expected than there was in the third week of April.

Because expectations have rightly been raised so much higher, natch.

So glad we called up Santana so we could get Florimon more at bats. And for God's sake you simply have to bunt there. That's on Gardy.

Already bracing myself for the possibility that Dozier and Cola may not reach their April-projected season totals of 50 homers and 150 RBI respectively...

Radio broadcast has yet to say that I've heard, so the Twins may have not diagnosed it yet.

Get Arcia up here soon. Especially if Mauer is out, but even if he isn't. Colabello is regressing so hard, he should only be playing against lefties. If Mauer is DL'd Parmalee should be primary 1B.

How about the dynamic duo of Florihermann finishing under .100/.200/.200?

Nice tidy start for Hughes. Looks like a nice day there also, with a lot of shirt sleeves.

Injured back for Mauer ? Huh?
