For those of us "watching" the game replay, on Twins Daily, from 35,000 feet. What did Hermann do (or not do)

Dropped a routine fly ball that would have ended the game. Next hitter lines a single to right, of course, bringing Markakis up as the tying run. Perk blew him away on 4 pitches.

Here's a clue:

You have to wait until the very last out to find out, or, what would have been the very last out... Corey Provus literally said "and the Twins win it and take the series!"

I heard somewhere that he makes $23 million a year. If true, this would have some bearing on back spasms.

Has anyone else noticed that, if someone is hard of hearing, "bilateral" sounds like "live batter drill" and "back spasms" sounds like "back at 'em"? Do you think everything we've "heard" could have been a misunderstanding?

By the way, why weren't we celebrating Dave Kingman pop fly day!?

I guess there's always next year..

ChiTown isn't here today... I think she is packing and getting out to beat the rush.

I was at a Blackhawks party. We won today. :)

Just for that, I kind of hope Maria fell off the mountain on Friday.

Hahaha ... she didn't but that would have made for an interesting version.

Ive seen enough of North Dakota for the time being.

It doesn't take much, I'm happy to have Minnesota between me and ND

I haven't been too many places but been to Chicago a few times and always have a good time. Why do Illinoisians hate IL so much?

Having lived in IL, here's my take: Very corrupt, high taxes for low return (compared to MN where the taxes are higher but the return is pretty good) big disparity between rich and poor, and there's not much by way of social welfare for those who are on the poor side of the coin. Everything in IL happens in Chicago.

No wonder P-Flo started, that's the last thing you want your SS to do
