Dang, Dee Gordon is fast
I couldn't be a player because of bad eyesight, so I decided to be an umpire instead.

Crawford has to be one of the poster kids for bad FA signings. OPS of .800 or better 5 of his last 6 years with Tampa. Since then:
2011, Boston, .694
2012, Boston, .785 (31 games)
2013, LA, .736 (116 games)
2014, LA, .501 (22 games)
7 years, $142 million.

According to my new title, I'll be playing in the all star game in my home park.

You can come up with statistics to prove anything. Forty percent of all people know that.

Was going to say that we had to celebrate a Twins lead quickly while Pelfrey was on the mound ....

but NOTHING happens quickly with Pelfrey on the mound.

Sigh, sigh, sigh.

Gladden just described the pitch to Puig (which resulted in the double) as "one of the few mistakes Pelfrey has made. Um....

All Star was only a matter of time. Your like Mike Trout or Bryce Harper of the game threads.

Memo to Dick Bremer: we should all be grateful that Pelfrey hasn't pitched deeper into games this season...

A Gladden "few" or a normal counting "few"?

Can we convince Jason Bartlett to give Pelfrey the old, "you tried, but you just don't have it anymore" lecture?

I don't want to watch him for 20 more starts if we are less likely to win those games.

and Hicks looks at strike three down the middle. I still have hope for him, but some days are harder than others.

Pelfrey's either hurt or he's done. Or both. We gotta make a move.

Hicks is going with the "I will never swing again" approach that I tried in little league?

What I just typed is probably an opinion, not a fact. I mean, I'm usually right, so you should maybe assume it is or will be a fact soon, but that's up to you. :)

I agree. Pelfrey hasn't made mistakes.
