Is there any good BBQ in Mpls any more?
Out of the loop here... last fave place was Smokehouse on 4th & Lake, don't know if they're still there...

No...I'm hard pressed to find a good restaurant in Mpls. I haven't tried much bbq here, so I cant really say.

I don't think the Smokehouse is still there. This looks intriguing though. http://www.northboundbrewpub.com/

6. think about that favorite Bartlett memory from this season. Think fast or it will be gone!

If you don't know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else.

Good lineup against the lefty.

That was my first thought too, until I looked at Vargas' splits. He's more effective against RHBs than lefties...both this year and for the past three. I still like the lineup except letting Florimonster bat RH.

I'm partial to Rudolph's, but I tend more to Vietnamese and Thai food.

Yay, made it home before the 9th inning for once.

I probably just cursed them.

Vietnamese? Pho Quan. End of story.
BBQ? "Challenged" sounds polite; "screwed" sounds accurate.
Feel free to pile on about Suzuki.

You can buy bottled fountain water at Kauffman for $10. Sealed with epoxy and not drinkable.

Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out next time I'm back!
If they do it low and slow, then it should be good.

Josmil is either the slowest player in baseball, or he wasn't running very hard.

That was an awesome throw though.

They caught a runner off first again on a cutoff throw to the plate.

And... Pinto out trying to stretch a single into a double. Close though, and with two out, i think i'm okay with that...

Ok, I'll try my best to liven it up..

Here in China, baseball is a Martial Art. Bats are for personal defense only.

The marketing seems to be aimed at OTR truckers, for some reason.
Is self-defense really an issue? In Taiwan, you hit HRs, but on the mainland you hit shins?

Ok...

For the OTR guy who needs protection from hitchhikers, migrant farmworkers, organ harvesters, and itinerant sex workers, we present... the Bat.

I've been watching the Harang no hitter with 6 walks. He I believe is done, but the no hitter lives.
