I haven't done my Safety homework in this draft. Who is around for the 2nd round? Would it be worthwhile to trade up for Barron or Smith? Or is there anyone around later on in the 2nd that would be a suitable center fielder/run stuffer a la Bob Sanders/Mike Brown/Darren Sharper? Obviously my expectations are high, but there are three primarily elements towards making a Tampa 2 defense effective. A sack-happy defensive line, fast linebackers, and a healthy Bob Sanders type of safety. The only time Peyton Manning won a Superbowl was when the Colts had all 3 in January. The Vikes obviously need this for the defense to stop being embarrassing.
