So Watts comes in to pitch but gets inserted into the leadoff spot. It never got to him in the batting order because Bruc Pugh came in to pitch th 12th. Pugh did end up batting in Hicks' spot and bunt popped out.

Hicks made an out in CF right before the pitching change. Did he get hurt on that play?

That's just a glitch on MiLB Gameday - for some reason, whenever there's a pitching change, the pitcher is listed as replacing himself. It just means Watts came in to pitch, and with Hanson (who was the DH) now playing in the field Watts had to be put in the lineup in Hicks spot.

But Hicks did in fact come out of the game and the Rock Cats did have Bruce Pugh bat in Hicks' spot

Commentator called Hicks running face first into the wall at CF after taking catch. Taken out of the game as a precaution at least, post game show may have details.

Thanks Irb49. I figured he must have been hurt somehow. Hopefully its minor. But why did they have to give up the DH? Was there just nobody else on the bench?
