There was indeed a lot to like about tonight's game.

    I enjoyed the write-up, Parker.

After that first inning, all I thought was here we go again...But what a job by Pavano after that. Good outings for Duensing and Capps as well. I always hate bringing a closer into a non-save situation, but Capps did fine. Offense was solid as well. I was originally thinking we'd somehow pull a split out of this series. Now we have a great chance to win it!

Looks like they gave themselves a collective kick in the b*tts after that Texas series.

Now to see how they can do against CC.

Great game! Middle infield defense was really good. How about that slide by Doumit!

It was so great to see Pavano shake off that first inning and pitch the way he did after that. Defense looked sharper; and we had some productive offense...all in the same game! Let's hope the strong start is a sign of more to come the rest of the week in the Bronx!!!

Definitely a nice win! Fun to watch when they play like that. Hoping they have some more tricks today vs. the big lefty.

Yes, very enjoyable game all 'round last night. I'm starting to like this team if the staring pitching would be as good as Pavano was last night (1st inning notwithstanding). Wonder which Liriano will appear tonight?
