Anyone else holding their breath with Morneau's slide at home? Whew.

Gottcha, I guess I just assumed that you were listening and that's how you knew he was out.

It sounds like they just had him on a hard pitch count and he'd come out as soon as he reached it.

Each of today's 3 outfielders has gotten a hit. That makes me happy.

That is good news. Please note that some of us are relying on those of us who have radio access to provide such comforting details.

Sounds like all the Outfielders have had good games. Mastroianni made a real nice jumping catch against the wall earlier in the game.

Oh man, I go to a meeting for a half an hour and the Twins score two runs and no update on thread.

Sorry, would have done some play-by-play posts had I realized people would be following.

I don't think that is a correct pitch count, considering he faced 10 Batters and struck 2 out.

Dozier has looke pretty solid in the field today.

    Top of the 5th:
    Twins up 5-3

    Pitcher: Schwimmer for the Jays

    Morneau bounces out.

Not a problem. I'm listening to the radio now.

Morneau and Plouffe are both having a good day at the plate. Two hits for Justin and two walks for Trevor. I'll take that all season long... as long as there are some long balls mixed in there too.

    Plouffe walks on 4 balls.

    Chris Colabello up.

    Count 3-1

Colabello grounds out, Plouffe advances to 2nd.

    Benson up, 2-2 count.

Benson strikes out on an off-speed pitch to end the inning.

Morneau had a RBI double and he scored later. I missed how he scored though.

    Bottom of 5th:

Plouffe replaced by Mark Sobolewski at 3rd.

Tim Wood for the Twins pitching to Izturis and he flies out.

    Rajai Davis up 1-1

Davis singles over Morneau, just finding an open spot.

4 outs on 6 pitches for Pressly, you know that's going to cause Gardy all kinds of fantasies.

He threw way more than 15 pitches. For ST, the gameday pitch counts are not accurate. All AB are 1 pitch unless they are Strikeouts (3) or Walks (4). There are exceptions that they have to account for such as Pelfrey's 1 Ball was a passed ball on Mauer.

Now let's see which team's minor leaguers are better.
