Article: Twins Minor League Report (6/17): Familiar Faces Shine
You can view the page at http://www.twinsdaily.com/content.ph...ar-Faces-ShineScouting Report: Tools - Power: 30, Hitting: 50, Arm: 60, Defense: 40, Speed: 40. "Line drive swing and shows good contact and on-base abilities. Double's power at his peak. Strong arm from 2B or the OF, stiff hands. Not a fast runner, but above average instincts on the bases. Skinny body doesn't look the part, but can sneak up on you. ACL surgery sapped much of his athleticism." (Probably)

Gilmartin promoted. That should open a spot for Berrios.

Definitely. Though Berrios might not be first in the promotion pecking order.
But the Twins always talk about consistency with pitchers when determining promotions, so if Berrios hasn't been consistent (-ly awesome), I don't know how they define it!

Consider these stats, in the same level, at the same age:
Fernandez: ERA- 1.96 FIP- 2.34 K/9- 9.65 BB/9- 2.78
Berrios: ERA- 2.09 FIP- 2.34 K/9- 10.47 BB/9- 2.44
Should Berrios be able to continue this current success in New Britain this year, he would have an excellent chance at being a first or second call-up (after Meyer?) next year. Exciting times, especially if the Twins choose to be aggressive.
