I guess that technically he's the new everything back-up OF. But at least this really does give a back-up CF.

YAWN...please wake me up when some real talent gets recalled. I just hope we never hear from Bartlett again this season.

Two guys parked on the bench watching the pinch hit opportunities roll by makes me wonder: if they'd won today would they still have done this? I like to think they would have, but regardless it's good to see injured guys getting replaced. Too bad Arcea didn't own up in time to get another hitter up here for today's game.

Why change what works so well?

If he plays well, will they send Hicks down?

Then they'd need another backup CF.

When Arcia comes off the DL I'm sure Willingham or Kubel will need to be placed on it. Pretty sure last time I saw both run the bases I saw those ambulance chasers from TSR Law Office following them.

Since Mastrianni is out of options, I would guess Hermann goes back down, unless Willingham needs to be DL'd

What's better than a decrepit old man on the bench who can't play?

You'll have to be more specific.

The real question is how much did Dave's WS odds just skyrocketed in his favor with this move.
