I agree for the most part, but Marginal for most teams is different than marginal for the Twins, Astros and Cubs. Most teams marginal means that they are on the border line of making their top 25. ...

Tickets for the actual all-star game are only sold in strips, where you will need to purchase tickets to all of the events. tickets for the fanfest and the futures game went on sale this morning at...
I thought you had to purchase an entire strip for the events, but it looks like you can purchase individual tickets to fanfest and the futures game.
Here is a link
Demand based pricing. They actually started it in 2011, however they had limits as to how high and how low they would allow the pricing to go. It looks like we are now running without limits.

At the major league level, the level of talent (physical) really isn't that much different between players. (of course with a few exceptions). I think most players will admit that one of the...

The mental side of the game.
I know we have had numerous discussions about the Twins slow move to embrace analytics, where do they stand on sports psychology? Many teams were employing sports...

Not sure there is much too it, but Gardy did mention in one of this interviews around Twinsfest, something to the effect of wanting to change the attitude of the club. I think he said "bring in...

It's depth. The only thing it costs is money and I don't think anyone is against Terry spending more of the Pohlad's Money. You can't argue against a move like this. If he pitches well, he may...

Cubs fans haven't always been that loyal. I lived in Illinois in the mid 90's and many times walked up to the ticket window to get tickets at Wrigley an hour before the game. In those days they did...

I agree. In 2010, many people attended the games just for the sheer event of it. they weren't there not necessarily to see the Twins play, but instead to experience outdoor baseball and the latest...

Thanks for the audio of the event. Sounds like it was a good time and good to hear the comments from all of your guests.

The problem is we are baseball fans. It doesn't matter how bad they are, I will watch. I will go to the games. It's actually cheaper to attend games now that they stink. Once the new crop of...

Appreciate any updates on the events of the night and any new information for those of use unable to attend.
Unless you guys that were in attendance are still in bed at 2:00pm in the afternoon.

Good point. I was thinking about that same thing, but Jhonny Peralta didn't seem to have any problem finding a job after his suspension. Do you think that really enters into way teams seem to have...

Another player that turned down his qualifying offer and may have it backfire on him. With any team that signs him forced to give up a draft pick, the market is no where near where he thought it...
Thanks for sharing.
In the past, all season ticket holder were all given free tickets to Twinsfest. That ended this year as well.
Granted all proceeds from Twinsfest do go to the Twins...

"To get back to 19, let me just say this, it would take a pennant race in September in order for us to get there," St.
Peter said. "If we're having a good season, it's feasible you could add a...

Opening day tickets went on sale yesterday at 4:00pm. One day later and there are still plenty of tickets left in a variety of good sections of the field.

I agree that the odds of picking up Garza are not good, but I don't think it is about money. If there were something that Terry really wanted he would make the move, but honestly I think most of us...

It must not be obvious, because there are many people in favor of the Twins making a signing such as this.
Only commit big money and a lot of years to proven commodities. It's not a good idea...

No thanks. If we are going to lock up a pitcher for 6, 7 or 8 years, this is not the guy. A contract like this could really hurt a team long term if he doesn't preform at a true number one or if he...
