It might be time to give him a day off if only to clear his head. Twins are off Thursday so he'd get two full days off before the Cleveland series.

This is only the second time in his career he's gone four consecutive games without getting a hit. The other time was back in August of 07 and he still managed four walks.

Last year hit took until May 24th for Joe Mauer to hit his 2nd home run and May 8th to hit his 5th double.

Jim Thome's career average is only four points lower than Justin Morneau. That's including the last five seasons when his average declined.
