I guess we'll find out if he is. He's officially made the team. We must have our sites site on the K record.
Just announced that Twins informed Kubel he made the team.

That's a cool video. Mr. Perkins seems like a fun guy to have around.
Glen is a funny name without the Perkins behind it. It'd be cool it the fans could come up with a final strike of the game chant...

I was left wondering if that double that went just over his head would've been caught if anyone else was out there. Granted it was hit pretty hard, but it just ate him up. People have been very...

Dozier looked pretty good
Pinto...tough day making good contact
Arcia...same as Pinto, but from L side
Colabello was ok. Still has holes, but better looking than last year

Eduardo Escobar just took over in center. I can't tell who's in left. It might be Herrmann. It's definitely not Parms. Too skinny...and right handed. Bartlett is at 3rd I believe.

I stopped using nexdef last year and just switched to using Chrome. It ran better that way. It's been working pretty well this year. I just watched the last game on my PS3, and that worked well....

8 of the 9 Phil's hits are on fastballs so far

I will argue on the decision part for the first throw. It was so bad that the announcers thought they might get hit. Who knows what he was actually trying to do. Definitely trying hard to impress I...

Post 1,111...make a wish!

Agreed! Maybe he wasn't exactly correct on each little thing he said, but it sounds like a rant. As if he was throwing out examples of how guys have been disappointing. He just went through each...
As we found out last year, that "routine out" was not routine for this team.
Guy on 3rd with less than 2 outs: here
Percent of scored base runners: here
Just having productive outs: here
Arcia - LF
Hicks - Center
Parmelee - RF
Why Parms? Because I feel like it. As I think the Twins rarely push people quickly unless out of need, Buxton will still be in AAA/AA. If not, then Hicks...

Willingham in RF and Arcia in LF? And that Miguel Sano is only 6'3" and 195 lbs. He hasn't been that skinny since he was 16...but that's what you get when you only use baseball-reference. Add in that...
I came back to this link on another computer, also W7 using Chrome, and it showed up. It might have been the firewall at work. They tend to frown upon streaming and anything video. One reason this...
Is it supposed to be blank?

If that's the problem, why doesn't he just sit and throw curveballs to one of the best eyes in the game...Mauer? Help each other out. Why is it that a pitching coach is the only person who can help a...

I'm watching the Indians ST game right now. Not to scout out the opposition or anything, just to have the sounds of baseball in the background. Nothing like a good crack of the bat to make you turn...

I'm hoping for OVER. The 20th at the earliest since the Twins games will be televised the 16th, 17th, and the 19th. I'd like to see him take a few hacks live.

Do you think the reports of Plouffe's added muscle will help him? He may hit some fly balls a little further, but his strikeouts probably won't change and it could affect his ability to play D.
I don't mind Florimon either, I was just hoping that between him, Escobar, and Bartlett that there would be a fair competition and the best player at the end of spring training would be the starter....
Florimon is out about 2 weeks after an appendectomy. You can read the full story here:
Are there any other Twins fans in Dallas? I think it'd be fun to get together for spring training or a game and have a beer and discuss the team.:th_alc:
Even if you're too far away, I think this...

I'm excited to see May pitch. I hope his high K rate maintains in AAA and the bigs. If so, I'll never complain about a walk from him. I'll give him a pass. Screw it. Everybody gets one.

By "tread water" do you mean "barely stay alive" or "comfortably keep oneself from drowning?" Last year was more of the former and I'm hoping this year is more of the latter.
