Looked to me like he was out trying to stretch a double into a double.
Sticky: Dude is for real.
Dude is for real.

Swag master himself, Danny Valencia, started a game at 2nd base for the Royals this season; it was the swaggiest move ever. But yes, this team seems to have an "edge" or whatever you want to call it....

It's you, it's the team, AND it's the swag :)
Just seems the new faces on this team have seemed to put a little spark in this group. I am actually enjoying watching this team and even the losses have (for the most part) been entertaining. ...
That is an interesting comp. Iglesias minor league stats don't indicate he has much offensive ability either. One main difference is Detroit had Cabrera, Infante & Fielder as IF'ers so they could...
It has been a couple years since my last post... Much to the fact that the twins have been so hard to watch I can't even bring myself to care anymore. This year things feel different... Not saying...

Point: Never had my appendix removed. While not a "serious" issue medically, nonetheless, it was time away from the field, conditioning, routine, practice, batting practice, etc. Im not certain the 3...

Honestly if you compare Florimon's 2013 hitting to just about any other guy who played middle infield since Hardy left, Florimon is really not that far off offensively.
Florimon's 2013 stat line...
That's right, they don't have anyone else who is ready to play ML SS right now so they might as well go with Florimon & hope he learns to hit.
He's really very good defensively & if the Twins...
Bottom line: I don't know of any better options right now. I'm ok with giving Escobar some run, but my hopes aren't high. And Santana is sporting a 11:1 K:BB ratio in Rochester. So might as well get...
I am with Reider. Remember when Plouffe was ss? I recall actually shouting "you suck" at a game (after a couple of beers). I know, I know hitting is also important,
but so is defense and Floriman...
^^Reider is my new favorite poster. #TeamTorpedro

Not quite ready to give up on Florimon. Late last season his stance and decision making started looking better at the plate. This season he got a slow, delayed start because of his appendicitis. I...

I think the lesson tonite is,
don't play against Canadian bank robbers...

Sticky: Honestly though, thats a real...
thats a real f-----------------ing lonely feeling out there for him right now. as far as key at bats he's done, but I hope he gets it turned around

Hey, we kept Bautista and Encarnacion in the yard today!

That was some serious veteran presence by the Stylin' Hawaiian.

A little background information on Tonkin. Not good enough in org's eyes to stay with team, but first guy into VERY close game with a completely fresh bullpen. Interesting.

PS. no one wants to GEEEETTTTT REAAAHHHDDDAYY with me?
PPS. That's four at-bats for dozier with man on 3rd less than two outs and NOT getting the job done.

I really hope Colabello's start isn't a mirage. How can you not root for a story like his?

Florimon earning his paycheck tonight.

I wonder what it would take to trade for JJ Hardy.
