May threw 151 two years ago and 149 last year.

He's at 144 so far this year, and I'm guessing they'd like to extend him past 150. It means he won't be pitching for Rochester in the (potential)...

Plouffe is the 3B of the present, NOT the future. Sano is very clearly the 3B of the future,
no one should have any question about that.

What about Rohlfing? He would seem to fit the rules, and he hasn't played a ton this year (neither has Knudson).

They sent Escobar down to get playing time. Carroll wasn't really playing, so bringing him back doesn't make sense to me. You don't actually need two utility infielders on the bench. I think they'll...

2004 was the last time, when they hit 191 HRs.

The difference this year isn't that they are hitting more, it's that they are giving up far fewer. They are 2nd in the AL is HR allowed.

He cost 20x as much and isn't really any better than Florimon right now.

    No thanks.

What if it got a long shot prospect in the low minors. Would you eat the entire salary for Brett Lee and Jhonathon Gonclaves?

    Um, no.

why would the Twins want a washed up rental for the rest of this year?

If they want vets to eat innings, they have Blackburn, Davies and Vasquez ready or close to it in the minors.

I don't think you can really say he "continues to get AB's" when he's had 5 total ABs.

He's clearly up to ride the bench and provide a spot start when Florimon or Dozier need a break. Escobar is...
