Ha, ha~ Burton in a jam, top 3rd and Mauer can't resist going to the mound... wonder how many times we'll see that this season?

Call me skeptical, but intrigued...
First, on the context side of things, don't forget Arencebia. At the time, it was a Buck vs. Arencebia vs. Suzuki vs. Doumit debate; in that pool, I'd still...

Excellent point, absolutely agree. As far as I can tell, that's what happened to Gilmartin, so dumping Doumit for him + (likely/hopefully) a year at AAA = shrewd trade and a good chance for a...

FWIW, I'm not a 'spend it just to spend' type. While the rotation is improved, is anyone 100% happy with where the rotation stands now? Is this rotation going to get us what we want; if not, what...

Heartily agree with Seth. My Birdos buddy consistently made the point (that's the polite way to say it) this season that their success depended in large part upon rookie pitching. So true. Wacha...
Good for Justin- he has to be happy with this deal!
My guess is the Rox logic is similar to Twins/Hughes: change of scenery is everything.
His bat stands to benefit in Denver- is there a better...
This thread dead yet? Or, does the word from LEN3 bring it back to life?
AJ is an "edgy" guy and MIN's clubhouse is as edgy as a billiard ball right now.
Play the game right. Do the little...
@ 101- With you on Pelfrey, though I'm not sure they make a move for him.
#4 Spot, to me, is Deduno- gut tells me he improves in '14 and has a chance to put it all together. #5 spot is...

Couple of ways to look at this signing- personally, I like it.
Twins didn't overpay in a thin market when we're desperate to improve.
Innings-eater who stands to benefit in TF? What's not to like...
