Do Twins fans have reason to doubt Rick Anderson's credibility amid Vance Worley's recent comments? Do you guys think he is safe as the pitching coach beyond this season?
-Thanks, as always

Personally, I think Nolasco's future in the Twins rotation is in doubt. Not sure what the Twins plans with him will be, but Gardy is clearly frustrated. Coming back from his little injury, he has to...

Whatever the deal is, we better have a more than competent coaching staff (especially pitching coach) in here by next season. With Myers, May, and Berrios close to the big leagues and Stewart a...

I know it's several years away, but what do the Twins plan on doing with Danny Santana, Jorge Polanco, Eddie Rosario, Nick Gordon, and Byron Buxton when they're all MLB ready?? We're looking at 5 top...

Bad timing bro... :banghead:

Mauer kills the rally once again, and Gardy proves his late-game strategy is as bad as it gets from a manager.
06-24-2014, 11:32 PM
Why can't Gardy ever swallow his pride and make the (right) decision to bunt Mauer? Runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs, down 1 run in the late innings, and a bunt moves the guys over to 2nd and 3rd...
Kenny's Vargas with 2 more hits tonight, plus a 2-run homer! Hitting .327, 15 HR, 57 RBI on the year at New Britain I believe.
Absolutely. Between his 9-1, 1.92 ERA numbers in AAA this year and his start tonight, there's reason to believe he can keep this up. If not, no harm in a demotion. Really rooting for Yohan though....

If Colabello wants to even hit .200 in the MLB, he has to move closer to the plate. He stands so far back from the plate that he can't even reach pitches right down the middle, not to mention on the...
Clete Thomas: He's filled in nicely I'd say. Not anything extroardinary, but solid.
Mauer: Not many complaints. Maybe just his amount of strikeouts.
Arcia: Young, flashes power. Needs to make...
Miguel Sano, as well as he's done at FTM, has been nonexistent, and dare I say it... Awful at the plate. I don't think it's anything to worry about though. He'll figure it out.

Not that it counts for much, but I'm one who has been very high on this guy for quite some time!
06-23-2013, 10:33 PM
Colabello: 2-4, HR (17), 2 RBI (59), .369/.436/.664
Albers: 5 IP, ER, 6 Ks, 2.93 ERA (7-2)
Sano: 0-5, 3 Ks, .171/.304/.400

The thing I like about Arcia is how he works the count well, and has a patient, but not an overly relaxed approach at he plate. He swings at most of the stuff thrown in the zone, and rarely chases...
Let me find out from Geno tommorrow and I'll get back to you guys on it. I'm not sure if he'll know either though.

Haha, I mean track who is quickening their own paths to Minnesota with their play.
06-22-2013, 10:48 PM
Chris Colabello: 2-4, HR (16), 2 RBI (57), .367 avg
Deibinson Romero: 0-3, .262 avg
Vance Worley: CG, 0 ER, 1 R, 2 H, 5 Ks, 3.10 ERA

I'll try to be on the ball and keep all of us updated every night in this thread on how the notable/relevant twins prospects have been doing in each and every game at all levels... GCL through AAA....
1st time poster, so hi everyone!
Parmelee provides too much power when inserted into the lineup to send back down to AAA, (where btw he has raked consistently when there). He shows it in flashes,...
