Twins have a decent scoring threat, only to run themselves out of it again with bad baserunning.

Twins get a solid return, too. This is exactly the kind of move they needed to make....consider this at least some redemption for Terry Ryan.

But isn't it more important to have an emergency backstop in the extremely unlikely event both your catchers get hurt in the same game?

On the bright side, the Twins have Casilla, Dozier, and Carroll due up in the 9th. All hope is not lost!

Duensing should probably be moved back to the bullpen. Well, for a couple weeks at least until they think he's ready to be a starter again.

Morneau's recent turnaround against lefties has been pretty incredible. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Yeah, Perkins pitching here makes about as much sense as Jeff Gray pitching in a tie game in the ninth. Don't the Twins have mop-up guys for exactly this type of situation?
