Pat Kelly and Austin Diemer signed today.
Who are some of the players that we drafted that are signability risks?
From today's game notes:
I SAW THE SIGN: The Twins have signed 17 more players from the 2014 First-Year Player

It's not going to format nicely, but you can get the picture. 16 remain unsigned.
From the top 10 the Twins are 216,900 under slot so they have extra money available to sign some picks should they need it.
I'm interested to see Tyree Davis. He was a pretty highly-regarded kid early in his high school days, but fell off. I expected him just to go to college, but it doesn't appear that he was committed anywhere. Long, lean, a switch-hitter, Perfect Game called him a "high-ceiling" player.
I would consider both him and Gonzalez the lottery tickets we would have liked to see earlier.
Jake Reed for 350k according to Cotillo.
Do we know what Roberto Gonzalez, Gabrial Ojeda and Tyree Davis got? Including what they may have recieved, the Twins seem to have just under a quarter million to throw at some of the tough signs.
So the contenders are McCarthy Tatum HS (pick 20), Taylor Hern JC (25), Cameron Avila-Leeper HS (29), Sam Hilliard JC (31), Orynn Veillon HS (32), Mike Baumann HS (34), Brad Mathiowetz HS (35), Kirvin Moesquit HS (36), John Jones HS (39), Dalton Guthrie HS (40).
Of course, if the Twins were of the mind to, they could go 10% over budget without getting draft pick penalties next year.
Looking into it. Only Gonzalez would even be close, from what I can tell.
According to Jon Heyman (via Twitter), the Twin and Nick Burdi are close to a deal that will be about slot.
So, then we are just waiting on Burdi (which sounds done basically) and Curtiss? Then, it's just additional "hopefuls" at that point?
Imhof, no. 47 overall pick signed with phillies for exactly slot value. Not a commentary on the twins, just reporting the facts
