Twins add two locals to the lineup
Twins President Dave St Peter announced today via Twitter that the Twins will add beers from Surly and Fulton Brewing Companies to the Target Field arsenal this season, making the two additions early favorites for best free agent signings of the offseason.
Here's the roster of Surly beverages provided by John Bonnes' Twitter feed:

If you want some more hardcore beverages to wash away or celebrate a big loss or win, the Twins Pubs are now 2 Gingers Pubs and will serve the famous Big Ginger drinks which Aaron Gleeman loves so much.
Other food items announced include what will surely be the death of me, a buffalo mac and cheese dish, along with several other items that will undoubtedly please the crowd in 2012:
Here's a tantalizing shot of the mac and cheese and bacon sloppy joes courtesy of the Minnesota Twins Twitter feed. Go ahead, dive in face first like Nick Punto:Among the new offerings, fans can enjoy Valentini’s Mega Meatball, a cheese-stuffed meatball served with marinara sauce and parmesan cheese, deep fried pickle chips from The Preferred Pickle and a baked potato bar, featuring four varieties of jumbo potatoes.Other additions include garlic fries, bacon sloppy joes, buffalo chicken mac and cheese, SuperMom’s Mini Donuts, stir fry from Leeann Chin and salted nut rolls from Pearson’s Candy.

I think I speak for all beer snobs and foodies when I say that the home opener cannot come around fast enough.

Yummy. There are some great beers being brewed in MN. Love both those breweries.
Win Twins.

And as it always is, my resolution to "just bring an empty water ball to the game to save soem money" has turned into "well I have to have a hot dog and beer" to now "well fine, guess I'll have to try the new beers and food and what deep fried pickles and they added bacon to sloppy joes well here's my credit card just give me one of everything!"

Yes, but which Surly? Is it furious?

The picture looked like it had 3 of the 4 of their year round brews. I can't imagine that they wouldn't sell Furious though.
Surly and Fulton beers... and Big Gingers. No one is leaving that stadium sober.Last edited by James; 04-03-2012 at 02:08 PM.

It doesn't show it in the picture, but they DID have Surly Furious today. I'm not sure which styles will be available when. I know they have deliberately not put a specific Fulton beer on the menu, since the Fulton brewery may not actually be able to supply enough of any one specific beer to keep up with demand all season long. Not sure if Surly will have the same problem.
And the cheese-stuffed meatball is pretty damn great.
