NL
East: Phillies

WS: Angels win in 7
I don't think any of these teams are the "dream teams" that we had last year, but they are pretty good. I think the Twins win out over the tigers because the Twins have (some) semblance of an infield that can play defense, and their outfield isn't bad.
i have the angels winning it because they have a solid team right now, but if the Abreu controversy grows in magnitude, their record might not survive it.

Also, with how thin the pitching is for the Red Sox and the Yankees, and how weak the hitting is for the Rays, I think the AL East division will be up for grabs for the first time in a long while, instead of having the two expected teams, the BoSox and the Yankees, come out of that division seeming invincible.

Like Clubber Lang said my prediction is "Pain." This is how I see the Twins season developing. Without question it will be painfull with this rotation and bullpen.

I haven't paid much attention to the NL, but for the AL:
AL East: Rays, Blue Jays (WC2), Yankees, Red Socks, Orioles
AL Central: Twins, Royals, Tigers, Indians, White Sox
AL West: Rangers, Angels (WC1), Mariners, A's
Blue Jays ride into the playoffs on a late season surge, coupled with some injury problems with the Yankees. They shock everyone by beating the Angels in the wild card game and the Rangers in the ALDS. The Rays pummel the Twins, and the ALCS sets a new record for number of home runs in a playoff series, but ultimately, the Rays win in 7.Last edited by spideyo; 03-29-2012 at 08:58 PM.
