Gophers Baseball Beats #2 UCLA 6-2 in 10 Innings
Gophers Knock Off No. 2 UCLA in 10 Innings to Open Season - GOPHERSPORTS.COM - The Official Athletic Site of the Minnesota Gophers
Big season-opening win for the Gophers baseball program. Tom Windle, a pitcher who will likely be drafted quite high in the 2013 draft, started for the Gophers and went the first four innings. They then got 6 scoreless innings of relief and some really good defense.The University of Minnesota upended No. 2 UCLA, 6-2 in 10 innings, tonight at Jackie Robinson Stadium in Los Angeles. Tied 2-2 heading into the top of the 10th, the Golden Gophers scored four runs en route to a season-opening win. Trailing 2-0 until they tied it in the seventh inning, the Gophers took their first lead of the game in the 10th.

This is fun to see. Haven't followed Gopher baseball much since the days of Dick Siebert, but maybe I should.
Especially given how competitive I expect the Twins to be.
