    BREAKING: Ozzie Guillen Fired

    According to several sources, the Miami Marlins have dismissed Ozzie Guillen as their manager.

    Not terribly shocking news.

    Darn. And just a day too late to be considered for the Twins bench coach position!

    Never would have happened in a million years with the Twins, but I have to admit that it would have been entertaining as hell to see Ozzie as Gardy's bench coach for a season... or whatever part of a season it would last before one or both was fired.

    Agreed. I think Ozzie and Gardy could have been the funniest thing in baseball.

    Never in Twins org as coach. Has been in Blue Jays system as minor league manager. I believe currently at Single A+ Dunedin.
