Thread: Too bad we have a wildcard

The Baltimore-NYY and Oakland-Texas races would be really interesting if they weren't all going to the playoffs anyway.

If we didn't have that extra Wild Card then the Yankees and Orioles would probably be playing backups, resting regulars, setting up their rotations for the first round. As it is they have to give everything they have to try winning the division. I for one like it better this year.

No wild cards=more exciting pennant races!
