Zach Greinke Watch
Am I crazy? I'm rooting for the White Sox to get Greinke?
The White Sox are apparently very aggressive for Greinke. I'm not sure if they have the horses to make it work, but I'm also wondering if I want them to make it work. On the one hand, I can see them re-signing him if they get him. On the other, if they don't re-sign him it costs them some farm players AND it means Greinke goes to a team that the Twins likely wouldn't trade Liriano to anyway. I think I'm rooting for Kenny Williams. I feel dirty.

Good point, but it certainly would make the White Sox odds on favorites to sign him this off-season.

I hope they trade for him and I hope he implodes and lose every one of his starts.-----

At this point, I almost don't care who they trade him too, so long as its soon. It feels like the whole market has ground to a stop until this as been decided.

Does Chicago even have the pieces to make a Greinkie trade? The Sox farm system is a baron waste-land.
If it's between the Sox with the Rangers and Angels instrested, those teams could easily trump anything Chicago can offer.

I can't see teh Sox getting him, they don't have the high profile guy(s) in their system. But, yes, that is the ideal location for the Twins, as they won't be trading Liriano there. I could care less if he does well or not, once he's there, as it doesn't really matter to the Twins.Win Twins.

Being from Milwaukee I can add a few pieces in. Garza is likely not to be traded because of injury, Cole Hamels extension helps out the Brewers as well taking the best Lefty off the market, Miami's enormous asking price on Josh Johnson is scaring teams away. It looks like the Brewers will be in for nice package from greinke.Follow my photography, group page can be found here.
