He just wasn't Canton material when fully healthy, but he was arguably the best of the current generation, but there's no elite all-time centers in the current generation (though Mangold has a chance to be there).
So you don't see Maurkice Pouncey elevating to that "elite" level? Three pro bowls in his first three seasons in the league isn't anything to sneeze at.
I'm not sure. He's awfully fragile. That's a big part of it is that you have to be very healthy and play 16 games a season for a decade or more to even be considered as a lineman.
