Blackburn leaves game with shoulder strain.
Twins righthander Nick Blackburn left today's start in the sixth inning with what the club described as a right posterior shoulder strain.Blackburn was in the middle of a duel with Rangers righthander Yu Darvish when he flinched after throwing a pitch to Nelson Cruz. He was replaced by Brian Duensing, who got out of the inning. With Scott Baker out for the year with a flexor tendon problem, the Twins can't afford another pitching injury. But it could open the door for Anthony Swarzak to remain in the rotation instead of heading to the bullpen when Jason Marquis joins the team next week.
