It's nice to see the Twins finally string some hits together. As soon as the ball came off of Willingham's bat, I (as well as probably everyone else) knew it was gone. He absolutely crushed that thing.

Fun game. I have to admit I was a little worried in the 9th with the Final Countdown not because I have no confidence in Capps, but because we needed that win so bad.

I loved the Willingham signing from Day One. This is above and beyond expected, but we should probably keep in mind that there will be stretches where he goes 0 for 12 with a bunch of strikeouts to balance out days like this. But that's a trade-off I'm absolutely willing to make...just think if we had more than one guy in the lineup really trying to attack the ball like he does.
Happy about the win, if only because this was going to snowball if they didn't get an early victory. The schedule coming up is absolutely brutal.
