    Perspective

    For everyone that is ready to fire Gardy and jettison the lineup because of our ugly first series...look at Boston. Right now, the guy leading the team in BA, SLG, RBI, 2nd in OPS and 4th in OBP is.....Nick Punto.

    Good point. Sadly, I suspect Boston will bounce back better than us but the fire Gardy camp is ridiculous.

    Big IF here...but IF Nick Punto suddenly blossoms into a fantastic leadoff hitter and becomes a cornerstone of the BoSox Offense and Defense, will the blog-o-sphere start blaming Gardy for letting him go, or will there heads simply explode?
