I can agree with this and am thrilled that Deduno is pitching in the championship game tonight.
If he continues to pitch well, then I am hoping that he gets a fair chance to be in the Twins' rotation, and possibly even pitch the first or second game this season.

If Deduno does make the roster, it might not be a bad idea to start him opening day.
Guys come into that first game of the season chomping at the bit to swing the bat in a real game, so might as well throw out the guy who's a little wild.

I really want Deduno to start for us and do fantastic, simply because he doesn't fit the traditional model of what a successful pitcher should be.

Deduno had a great night tonight -- more walks than the Twins might like, but he was money when there were runners on base.

I have loved watching Deduno's intensity in the WBC. I don't know if he could sustain that intensity over the course of a season but it has been a joy to watch.
