Colabello
Colabello is on a tear in the WBC. Gardenhire has stated he wants "pop" from the bench. What is the likelihood that we see Colabello on the major league roster early in the season?
Colabello's WBC Stats:
AB 13 H 6 AVG .462 OBP .462 SLG .923 HR 2 RBI 7

Do those stats include the home run he hit today against Edison Volquez in the Italy vs. DR game today?

I am sure hoping that Colabello gets a chance in the majors this year. What a great story!

Towards the end of last seaon, I was thinking it would be cool if he was given a taste at some point this season. I have since moved well beyond that thinking. To the point where I would like to see him at Target Field on April 1.

I think he definitely makes it if we can carry only 12 pitchers. If we have to carry 13, I don't see it happening.
Now if only he could play a position other than RF and 1b...

He is a great guy. Definitely deserves more of a chance than his teammate with Team Italy. Would be interesting to see what happens. He can provide a decent RH option off the bench. The next couple weeks, when the rosters shrink and the competition improves will be good to watch.

How Are AA Pitchers Approaching Miguel Sano?
Last week, I was in the right place at the right time: the AA debuts of top Twins' prospect Miguel Sano and Eddie Rosario. One big takeaway from Sano's and Rosario's first couple AA games was that...
