Swarzak thinks he'll be ready by Opening Day

Per Rhett Bollinger, Anthony Swarzak will begin throwing by the middle of this week and feels good about his chances of recovering from this ridiculous injury:

"It's rest -- it's all it is," Swarzak said. "There's nothing you can do to speed up the process. It just has to heal on its own. But I'm extremely happy. Honestly, I'm about a week and a half or a two weeks ahead of schedule."

I hope that he does not hurt himself by trying to come back too soon, in an effort to reduce his embarrassment.

Sure. But he might have to get back quick to secure a job.
