Now that the Twins are actually playing games, there is much more to talk about, and as spring blossoms appear and people focus more on what's happening every day, I expect that there will be a lot less for the moderators to worry about.

Yes, that was what I was thinking. And even though it never gets very cold in Southern California, I was definitely sharing in the depression.

I believe that jokes are always allowed as long as they don't violate any of the rules (and are not directed against another member).

Yes, this is a serious thread, but sometimes a bit of levity provides comic relief.

I cannot believe that people are not taking this thread seriously. We have 10 commandment, 10 Amendments in the Bill of Rights, and 10 rules on Twinsdaily.com. Please take this super serious.

These posts are very funny.

I would note that during that past week or so, there has been almost zero snarking and personal attacks on TD. People have been respecting the guidelines and I believe that this has made TD a funner place.

As a moderator, I have had almost nothing to do, but as a fan, I have been enjoying the brilliant and insightful posts of our incredible members. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated, along with your insight and humor. Twins fans are the best fans in the world and you people are the cream of the cream.

Huge thanks to glunn for his respectful efforts to change the tone, and thanks to everyone for the increased civility lately. It's making this place a lot more pleasant.
