Thread: Murphy: Sano getting a "hard look?"

This story is about Everyday Eddie, but has an interesting note at the end....

Sano, the Dominican Republic native who thrived playing for Class A Beloit (Wis.) last season, is expected to get a hard look by Twins brass this spring before being assigned.

I can't help but wonder - could this mean that Sano has a chance at starting the year at New Britain? Or back at Cedar Rapids? Isn't Fort Myers a foregone conclusion?

I'm sure they mean they want to get a good look at him. See what he needs to do to get better and make sure that plan is sent along with him to High A.

Perhaps this is an assessment of whether or not they believe he can stick at 3rd.
