That's probably up to each fan but I think it's clear that the Twins have had a pretty good run and there isn't reason to think that the FO doesn't know how to fix things.
# of losing seasons since the new millennium
0 - Yankees
1 - Red Sox, Phillies, Cardinals
2 - Braves, Dodgers
3 - Angels, Twins, White Sox
4 - A's, Giants
5 - Astros, Diamondbacks
6 - Tigers, Blue Jays, Cubs, Padres
7 - Seattle, Rangers, Tampa, Marlins, Mets, Brewers
8 - Cleveland, Washington,
9 - Colorado
10 - Reds
11 - Baltimore, Kansas City
12 - Pirates
I'm probably more optimistic about this years team then most people but I think everyone would agree that the 2013 Twins will be the worst team we have for awhile. We have a nice foundation of players to build around, starting this year with Hicks and Gibson.

Several of the teams below the Twins have had major post season success though. It isn't just the losing, it is also the lack of the big payoff. Also, a losing season is very different than a 90+ loss season. But your general point is fair. They used to be good.

That's my biggest complaint with this site. I used to be a regular on TwinkieTown and they redesigned, so many of the good writers left. I came here looking for the best writers, which the site has, but the comment function is seriously broken. I am a patient man, but you'd think they would have fixed it by now.

I thought Gibson was too high and Hicks and Arcia were too low.
Interested to see where other's have them ranked.

His point is more than fair...people get so mad and want to fire the whole front office. If we fire gardy and tr...they would be out of a job for 15 minutes. Sometimes bad stuff happens like injuries and such. The ship is being righted as speak. Spending money is not the problem. Do u think that Browns fans are happy with the firing of bill belichic. Im sure they were all calling for his head when they "only GOT to the playoffs." How many sulerbowls have the browns been to since they fired him...none compared to only 5 for pats. Be patient with the braintrust. They will fix things and be competitive by 2014

And if they are not competitive in 2014, will you then question the front office? I do mot believe there is any excuse to be this bad this long. You disagree, what makes you so right, and those that feel three awful years is too many?

Rochester Review: Samuel Deduno
Entering his 10th professional season, it’s safe to say that 2012 was the best year in Samuel Deduno’s career thus far. Not only did Deduno end the year in the Minnesota Twins rotation, but he also...
