We have options this year in theory. This has to be an improvement. Doesn't it?
I can't get over this timeline Pelfrey is purpotedly on. Ready to go in February? He had TJ 2 weeks after Gibson did.
edit: Baker, not Gibson. Oops. FWIW he is hoping to be ready on opening day also.
Pelfrey is playing for 2014, which may or may not be a plus!
It nice to have some pitchers on make good contracts, maybe one of them will actually make good.
I don't like thinking that our frustration is making it to their ears, but Pelfrey is wrong, all outs are not created equal.
There are plenty of reasons to think Correia and Pelfrey were not sexy pickups that do not relate to their strikeout numbers...
