Thread: What is more real? Te'o's girlfriend or the Twins chances to win it all in 2013?

I personally went with, Twins chances (I give them 20% chance to win the central and a 3-5% to win it all)

This Teo thing is all kinds of ****ed up. And I don't believe for a second that he was the "victim" of a hoax. He and his closest family and friends were the perpetrator. The cat's out of the bag (which they probably never counted on post-"death"), and it ain't going back in.

More facts will come out. But I believe he was the victim of a hoax. Probably some financial scam in which he probably paid out lots of money to a fictional girlfriend. If this is true he is a sucker and an idiot, but not a bad guy by any means.

Um no its pretty obvious that he was in on it for at least a good amount of time, read the deadspin article and quotes from him in the past (where he said she had visited him in Hawaii)

The dude deserves a special place in hell for conning everyone. Disgusting human.

If there were a hell, I don't know that faking a human interest story would rate that highly.

Ha yeah, that is true, I apologize for my hyperbole, it's pretty ****ed up to scam on the emotions of millions of people though. Either way this story should keep getting more and more bizarre.

Well, since we know she is not real, the Twins' chances are higher....around 5 percent of winning the division....and, wow, what a bizarre story.

Clear victory for the Rally Monkey. At least we know that exists.

Shouldn't the poll be, What is more dead, Te'o's fake girlfriend or the 2013 Twins playoff hopes?

I tried to go the fake dead girlfriend route once, but when you're married people just assume you killed her and call the cops on you.
