2014 Pitching Free agents
While it would be nice if our newly acquired pitching prospects could contribute in 2014, it remains likely that we'll need to bring in some outside help. Am I premature in thinking about potential free agents pitchers next offseason? The answer, of course, is yes. The Twins never seem to risk it all on massive contracts for pitchers, but will Tim Lincecum's nightmarish 2012 knock him down into our realm? Is he done as an ace pitcher?
Who else is entering free agency after the 2013 season? Will draft pick compensation affect who we sign?

I hate to say the Twins are never gonna have to worry about draft pick compensation when it comes to signing a FA. Too cheap and too smart to sign an ace to a 6YR deal.
