    Twins and Free Agent Pitchers

We've all talked alot about how we want to Twins to sign a big name starting pitcher. But the more I've thought about it, I can't think of the last time we signed a good starting pitcher!

Carl Pavano does not count since we got him in a trade.

Can anyone think of the last new starting pitcher the Twins signed that actually made a difference? And with that why should we think this year will be any different.
    I bent my wookie...

Pavan was a free agent after the 2010 season and resigned with the Twins. His 2010 season was very good. I believe various free agentt rankings had him as the 3 or 4 best pitcher available. His 2012 season made sure all is forgotten.
