No doubt "Pepe" was the best #12 ever for the Twins. He and Tony-O are my 2 favorite Twins. Probably could have just done a top 5, because some of these guys were AWFUL.

What about Rick Sofield? When he retired he was the all-time leader in homeruns for players born in Wyoming. He's got to bump Adam Everett off this list who's only tied for the 41st most homeruns for players born in the state of Georgia with Desi Relaford and Bucky Dent.

Alexi had a WAR of 4.2 - maybe we'll miss him more than we think. This is a nice history. I feel bad that we need to wait 88 years for the next one.

Eric Soderholm was having a great season his last year as a Twin before he fell into an open manhole cover and injured himself. ever since then I refuse to walk over any manhole cover open or closed...

Seeing Jason Tyner on the list ... he's the guy I keep thinking of when the concept of Darin Mastroianni being our opening day CFer is mentioned. A guy who plays CF when in AAA but somehow ends up in a corner OF position in the majors, an OPS based mainly on BA... pretty similar guys. Darin does have a little more home run power, and will take a walk a little more often. A little. Some guys are born to be fourth outfielders.
