Overnight Development
No official word as to whether Butera, Burton and Duensing were offered contracts, but they are all still on the 40-man roster. I guess we have to assume they were made offers. However, Lester Oliveros is now listed as having chosen free agency and is off the 40 man, so it is now down to 36 officially.

Burton and Duensing should have been offered contracts. Both are pretty decent options in the pen. Maybe we can get lucky and the Astros still want Butera.

I'm not exactly sure what to make of this, but MLBtr has all three receiving contract offers on their "non-tender" tracker.

I suppose we can always release Butera at little cost later. Maybe we can trade him. He seems to be more destined for Rochester next year, so does he have an option left?
