Eric Hacker DFAd by the Giants
Hacker has two good years as a starter in the hit-happy PCL sandwiched around a dreadful year with Rochester in 2011. Given the Twins new love for late-20-something journeyman (and provided bridges haven't been burned), what's the harm in the Twins claiming and signing Hacker to a minor league contract (provided the Padres don't beat us to it) and give him a chance at a starting spot for 2013?
